Saturday 12 & Sunday 13 September 2026 | 12pm - 6pm
Join us for a special two-day collaboration with African Style Archive (ASA) as the Open Library arrives at time & space.
Throughout the weekend, visitors are invited to browse a curated selection of books, magazines and printed material from the African Style Archive collection, exploring the rich histories of African fashion, photography, art and visual culture. Set amongst the 20th-century furniture, objects and design pieces that define the time & space showroom, the installation creates a unique dialogue between fashion, print and design.
Designed as a space for discovery, the Open Library encourages visitors to slow down, spend time with the collection, read, research and make their own connections. Whether you're interested in fashion, architecture, design, publishing or African cultural history, the pop-up offers a rare opportunity to engage with an exceptional archive in an intimate and thoughtfully curated setting.
Expect a weekend of browsing, conversation and inspiration, where two collections come together to explore the intersections of African fashion histories and 20th-century design.
